Had a great experience after stopping in for lunch with a friend. Food was fantastic. Service was even better. Can't go wrong with this place. Will be back for sure. Prices were on point.
Local restaurant with good hearty food and reasonable prices. Very busy for lunch but fast service once my order was taken tough choice between the ayce fish for 10.99 or pork chops. I went with pork. Good choice. Not very thick and was worried about them being dry. They absolutely were not. Good potato salad and slaw. Everyone seemed to know everyone. Can't stay in business that long in a small town if you don't do a good job. I'll be back
We had planned to go to Webster to the flea market but it was closed because of high water so we adventured to Busnell and had breakfast here after hurricane "Milton". I am sure the staff had some issues of their own but they were there serving the customers with a smile. Checking in several times to be sure everything was good and if we needed anything.
Best homemade meal!! We're new to this area, and we already fell in love with April. Very friendly, homie experience. Hands down!
Traveling through and we decided to stop in here as they had several jome cooked meals to offer. It just happened to be All you can eat fish fry Friday. Two out of three of us ordered the all uou can eat and the other ordered 2 pieces of fish dinner. All of the above came with 2 homemade sides. Many sides to chose from. There were out of Brussel spouts which several people around us asked for. For sides we had baked potato, Cole slaw, fries, green beans and onion rings. The baked potato is definitely a hot item because it was the furthest from a hot potato. Barely melted the butter that I put on it. Green beans had good flavor. Onion rings were fresh and crispy. The Cole slaw was a very dry slaw, very little to no dressing on it. The fish came out hot and crispy. It wasn't a beer batter or a cornmeal batter. Very light coating which made the coating have just the right level of crisp. Not that the following has anything to do with the following but several people through out the restaurant loudly burped, one guy got up and his butt (not just his crack) was seriously showing. I'm glad I was done with my meal because those things made me want to gag. Like come on people! Overall - average place. All of the servers were hustling to cover the tables and helping one another out.
Great locally owned restaurant, also a great place to work! Friendly environment, fun atmosphere.
Very good food, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Nice little local breakfast and lunch stop if you’re in the area.
